I’ve been taking medication for stomach ache since last week. My family members say it must have come form the hectic July I went through, but I think it has a lot to do with the climate here in Singapore.
Singapore has the tropical rainforest climate. In this city, once you have a problem with your stomach, it seems to stick around because the heat and humidity weaken the organ. Considering that taking care of your digestive system is one crucial summer regimen from the TCM point of view, it fits the picture.
I depend on aromatherapy to deal with minor ailments, and a stomach problem calls for
BLACK PEPPER.
It helps digestion as well as it improves blood circulation, which is why it’s also well suited for stomach aches that come from poor circulation. This time I blended a massage oil using jojoba for tummy as the carrier, black pepper and mandarin.
I have another article that touches on black pepper.
